I've heard about that restaurant in the Colonius (almost *everything* in Cologne - Köln has a particle sounding like "cologne" in it - the people there are *very* proud of their own ! ) the following tale :

Originally, the tower was property of the town Cologne itself.

The Telekom - amlmost monopolist in telecommunication regarding telephone (not mobiles, though) bought it.

The town said that they would only sell it if there was a restaurant in it.

Everything was prepared, but nothing in the papers saidd that they should actually run it ...

I don't know whether it's true, but it sounds just ... evil to me.

Examples for "cologne-like names :

Colonius (the tower)
Colonnaden (kind of bazaar)
Eau de Cologne (worldwide known)
etc

Artsy fartsy -- went pretty well considering it was a freehand shot with a quite long exposure. The original is high-res so maybe I'll upload it as a wallpaper, dunno

Farnsworth: I just need to reset the Clone-O-Mat from Human Mode to Doggy Mode.

[He turns a switch around to a picture of a dog. It is like a child's toy.]

Woman's Voice: The dog says MOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Farnsworth: Oh, this may take a while.

[He bashes the switch.]

rat, why do you call it "Fall"?? isn't that an American term? We call it Autumn in England.
I do love the wide range of colours in Autumn, especialy the reds.
