I'm sad, the shorties don't get too much love, they are great.

Never had anything super rare in my playthroughs, yet I was always content with the outcome. My favorite is probably Astarion and Gale making switcheroo, a rogue becoming a hero for hire (how long before it bores him) and the wizard falling victim to his ambition... or was it all for the greater good?

I wonder if the Tara petting statistic only includes pets given by players after Gale died or also pets given by Avatar-Gale. It seems low for both!

If I ever manage another playthrough I will pay more attention to friendly dinosaurs and not getting turned into a cheese wheel!

Fun fact: there is a youtuber , who did a whole playthrough as cheesewheel (with the help of a mod). That was pretty funny.

The funniest was Gortashs coronation scene.

I wonder, are elves the most popular because they are the default? I've watched a few YouTubers start their first playthrough and create a character clearly not having noticed that they could have clicked the icon on the left to choose a different race. They make an elf they're happy with and start playing before they find out there were other options.

I think half elves are infamously popular in table top, humans and elves are doing pretty well, but not as well (second and third)

What do you base this statement on ?

AFAIK humans have always been the most popular choice, followed by elves, across really all D&D versions and games, and games that resemble D&D in regards to the available race choices (like Lineage, WoW, Vanguard, etc).
