Well she goes for K who has a pretty high AC and a reaction attack.
+8 vs his AC22 means she hits 35% of the time, and D20 rolls don't have a bell curve. So yeah, you can get a run where she gets strings of failure.
She can get bogged down with the intellect devourers, and paladins are not big on AoE, although she's not without.
And another big issue is once incapacitated, she revives with only a bonus action and 1hp, meaning if ganged upon, she's whack a mole.
Couple all this with her mighty intro and braggadocio, can seem humourous.
