Halsin didn't become a husband and because of the MC he didn't become mono, that was constantly demanded by a few here and on Discord and they didn't get it (a good thing).
We can go with Halsin right away and have to babysit, otherwise you can't stay with Halsin, he's even leaving Karlach because the children are more important to him (it suits him).
If the author of SH sees it that way and wrote that way, then that's it. The game has been out for a year and the threads haven't changed anything about SH with their Selune path.
