Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Help Tips & Tricks (spoiler) Help, Amulet of Bhaal vanished

Around 4 days ago I have fought Sarevok, looted everything on him, freed Valeria but the quest mark in the area never vanished, even though the Quest log says I did everything and that I now have the map to Bhaal's temple.

So last night, after doing a bunch of other quests, I decided to pick this one up again and went to the Temple. When I get to the big stone door, it doesn't let me pass. I googled it and saw I needed Bhaal's amulet - which is something I know I had because I remember examining it. Went back to camp, didn't find it on anyone and in none of my chests.

I spent HOURS yesterday going through all the vendors seeing if maybe I had sold in accidentaly, but still couldn't find it. I even tried pickpocketing everyone of them to see if they had it in their pockets. Nothing.

I went back to the Murder Tribunal (like I said, the quest marker there is still active) and there's no body to loot anymore and no more items for me to pick. I walked every single inch of that place seeing if maybe something was on the floor. Nope.

I'm honestly so lost right now because I can't progress the story.

I play on PS5, so there's no mods that would break my game.

Have you ever found a solution? I’m in exact same situation except I don’t know for certain I ever had it in the first place. I defeated Sarevok but might have knocked him out instead of killing him. When I go back to the murder tribunal the question marker is still there but all the bodies are gone (everywhere else in the game bodies are still there).

I checked the box on my camp, and it had a lot of items missing. I dump a shit load there, so perhaps amulet of behaal too.

Really bumped out, this is my first play through 150 hours in and it seems like I can’t finish the story now??

Okay so I found everything. The amulet of bhaal was lying on the floor somewhere. I want to say I looked pretty thoroughly moving around and hitting x to search the area. I did fast travel back to wyrm’s crossing and then back to the murder tribunal. Maybe that “reset” something. Either that, or I was blind the first round. Either way I’m happy to continue the game.

About the stuff that I send to camp when exploring; I found it all in my box at the camp in Wyrm’s crossing, the box in lower city remains empty. I thought those boxes were interchangeable but I guess I’m mistaken
