I had the EXACT same problem, but on GOG. I looked up all the possible workarounds provided on the Larian website, but.... I'm not savvy enough to actually KNOW what's wrong and which of the solutions to use, and I am worried I'll cause more damage.
I had never even touched mods before. I do not know what did it: downloading patch 7 or downloading the toolkit (or both). I'm on a laptop with an RTX3080ti
Can anyone shed some light on this? The game boots up fine (it's just the message that pops up, during the Larian client). Is the game fine, or will I run into trouble later? Thank you in advance!
