Ok now after two days of working on BG 3 and the latest Patch I think I figured things out. But I've got a crucial question that has got me scratching my head.

Is the Baldur's Gate Mod Manager The same as the one for which you can get access via the Main menu button where you find all the "Coninue" "New Game" etc buttons? or is that something different?

I'm trying to find out ASAP as I'm trying to install "Norbytes BG 3 script extender". Or is the Norbytes BG3 Script extender already installed?

Any help or information would be appreciated.

Ok after trying out the so called in game mod manager and the BG 3 External Mod manager. I learned somethings.

1. The internal Mod Manager that is on the main load screen of the game will NOT allow for 3rd party mods. I.e. mods off nexus etc. All it does is is force you to uninstall them before the game will run. It will only allow for mods that are already shown on the screen.

2 The BG 3 MM Is one of the worst things for which I've seen as far as a mod manager. Not to mention that there is no tutorials for it and when I figured out a few things and went to start up the game through the BG 3 MM all it did was brought up a White screen and closed out

I'm going to download Vortex and try loading my mods that way and maybe they will work once again. Otherwise Larian Has to figure things out or the game is done as I've Tried everything for which I can think of. If anyone else has any suggestions I'm willing to hear them out. I'll check here when I wake up and see if there is anything. But thanks in advance for any help.

I've not used the MM from Larian's patch 7, I'm using the one that you can find on Nexus, once you've down loaded it, open it up and click on the tools tab, a drop down will appear, fourth one down is the download & extract, click it and it'll take it from there. I've had to restart completely but the mods are working fine from nexus. That mess of a mod manger Larian fumbled together will take a while to get right, I'm sure at some point a modder will have to fix that to since the studio is too busy polishing their awards.

I will totally agree with you in regards to the Mod Manager that you can download being a mess because it is. Like I said in my original post it looked like something a beginner put together. As for the in game one that had potential and might have been good if they'd have allowed to make for using 3rd party mods.
