I find BG3 despite its untidy Act 3 to be far superior in every other way to DOS2, which was a very fine game (Definitive Edition). Some issues will remain no doubt once Larian stops providing patches but we’re not at that point yet.
I agree. I do think the combat was fun, but everything else... I was thoroughly uninterested by the story and the characters. Can't even remember what happens or what their deals are, which is surely something considering I did finish it.
