I thought about the 1st person point of view in relation to Gale's audience with Mystra, in which you have the dual confusion of first being told that you cannot attend the audience, then being able to attend after all as a silent spectator through the tadpole, and on top of that you are given a broader view of the situation than you should have.

But in the end, using 1st person here or in Shadowheart's memories would be breaking with the narrative of the game. While you can control your player character and have their limited point of view, it's never a 1st person narrative situation, it's a 3rd person situation with a the Narrator doing a lot of the explaining of how you feel and perceive the world. They toyed with 1st person in EA when all the origins narrated their own tales.
