Yes, sorry, I think I didn't explain myself all that well. I understand the choice to make the scene play out in 3rd person, what I don't completely understand (not that it's a huge deal, mind you, could just be your average slip and I'm being a picky nerd) is why it seems to be stated that Shadowheart and the player were also seeing it that way, since it's her memory of the event. Maybe dissociating from the memory?

I think the reason she doesn't have a moonstone is that animators weren't instructed to give her one. It's not in the cinematics script (The cinematics doesn't come with any instructions, which makes me assume those instructions are somewhere else, I can't verify what is in them) and it could've slipped them if it's hidden behind some random dialogue option.
