Hello future modder. I haven't yet dealt with Larian's own tool and what freedom it offers when modding and whether you can change and upload things there with Blender and PS/Gimp.
Padmee has published some videos about the new tool, I think it's good to check out her guides.
Don't be put off, it usually sounds more complicated than it is.

Modding is a broad term, so I'm assuming you want to mod armor etc. It just depends on whether you just want to recolor things or create completely new outfits from existing parts, etc.
Just ask, I'll try to help if I can and I'm sure there are others with enough partial knowledge.
