Mardeneus keeps talking about the healing source and how its not working. I am wondering if there is a quest associated with this, and how to activate it.

Nope, no quest - just an excuse for him to remain in Aleroth.

There is a book in the cursed Abbey, informing you about the source, that's all.

Bugger, thats annoying. I thought it might have been a quest because you can ask him if hes "found anything out about the problem with the source".

You're right - kill him and you're free of a pesky main plot line <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif" alt="" /> - you're stuck then - but everything has a price <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Is it possible to kill everyone? Where does Seth go after you get the guardians for the healers? Can I find him and kill him too? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />

Seth can only be killed as long as the healers are in Aleroth (escort quest). As soon as you have delivered your request to Alix = he vanishes. Yes, you can kill him, some gamers liked his sword.

Zandalor? Nope, he can't be killed. If you play 1.34 version: Yoram can't be killed either. Otho still can bite the dust.

Why don't you try and kill everyone and then post your results? I mean, you can't complete the game - but you had fun, right? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Ill simply go level up by killing everything in site (enemies that is) before turning evil and slaughtering every innocent victim....oh and also the not-so innocent victims <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

BTW what skill ups your dagger damage, if any?

AFAIK nothing, there is no dagger skill - apart from backstabbing (assassin's kiss) - but I never tried it. I got the dagger out of Kistandalius' back room merely for its abilities - I always played mage. I'm playing warrior now, but it's boring for me, spells are more fun.

Yoram and Zandalor are invincible IMO, never tried to kill Kroxy, Eolus, Mardaneus, Imp etc.
