Nudity isn't necessary in this game. Gore is necessary for certain parts of the story. At least it is in my opinion.

And you hold this opinion ... why ?

I would switch gore off, too, if the option was available. It adds nothing to the game.

Depends on what you mean by gore. I think the hyenas transforming, the woman being perfected in the nautiloid, some of the torture and killing scenes add to the story

I think it's perfectly possible to tell a darker story without actually showing the darkest parts directly. Artfully obscuring with shadow, etc

I was more thinking how for example characters are constantly covered in blood. Which is kind of rather annoying.

I see no issue with having the whole hyena scene with a little less pools of blood.

We dont really see the transformation of the woman, thats largely hidden behind some sort of steam. Also I dont trigger this anymore because it doesnt actually do anything.

You can wash the blood and the dirt they gather off with soap or a sponge. To me this always seemed to be more of a fun way to show that they were having and adventure than fall into the category of gore.

Concerning the illithid transform, if you go to the console for Shadow's pod afterwards, the choices will throw out some FUD, wondering if activating it will do the same to her. I guess this won't be shown if you skipped the previous scene ? (Can't recall I ever did that)
