Since the latest hotfix #28? The one that brought modding support to console. (Steam) I cannot load any save game modded or NOT modded immediate crash to desktop. So not impressed.

I am having the same issue, and it's honestly driving me crazy. I have an honour mode run that i cannot play because of this. Patch 7 brought in some SERIOUS issues.

Me too, even with a clean install and NO mods...
I am sick of it and have gone back to patch 6. At least I know that works.

Hi folks, hopefully your crash reports will have been sent to Larian and you'll get a fix soon, but possibly if you share what platform/settings/specs you're running the game on it might be useful in spotting if there is a pattern.

I'm just replying to you, because you're a moderator. But my specs are windows 11, mostly high settings, and I have a Ryzen 7 3800x with a 3060ti with 64gb of ram. I am still experiencing the issue, however a work around I've found (for saves that aren't honour mode, because you need more than one save. Honour mode saves are SOL as far as I know.) is to load a previous save, and then once you load into that save, THEN you can load your most recent save. It only crashes from the menu, as far as I've seen.
