Just in case.
Look at it as just a permanent elixir. You can still play the entire game the same as before, but now your blood is flammable. Thats it. It won't affect romances, no one will die from drinking it, it won't affect any story lines.
At least the 2 times I've used it. I used it on my monk in one game and on karlach in another.
