I'm not sure when this manifested; I am currently running v4.1.1.5970269, but last time I was in the Emerald Grove, it must've been v4.1.1.4953010 or even earlier.

Anyway, Pandirna is lying on the floor, both Paralyzed and Knocked Down.
It is possible to "Help" her up, but all this does is make her spot you and trigger her first interaction.

Any further attempts to "Help" her up only immediately results in her being Knocked Down immediately again, making it impossible to initiate dialogue.

I have a lot of mods running, but none that even remotely touch upon Pandirna or the general application of Paralyze or Knocked Down, and in fact, I can't find any references online to Pandirna being "Knocked Down", nor to "Knocked Down" as a discrete condition (just various forms of Prone, which does not include Knocked Down).

How strange. Does lesser restoration remove the knocked down status as well as paralysed? I feel like I have seen knocked down before, eg when being attacked by the bullette but don't recall having paid a lot of attention to it. I'll look out in future.

This party doesn't have a way to cast Lesser Restoration on her, so I unfortunately can't check.

I have managed to narrow the issue down, though; I had an earlier save, which I could use to confirm that she wasn't Knocked Down the entire time. But if I start a fight in the area outside (easily done by failing to read the mind of Guex, the tiefling that is struggling with the training dummy), as soon as the fight is over, she is knocked down. Since I don't pull the fight into the shed, I haven't been able to see when she falls down - I just saw her enter a combat stance, and then the camera hijacked me.

I suspect that when she should otherwise have joined the fight, she gets "Knocked Down" instead, in order to keep her lying in her place, but this effect never seems to wear off and is re-applied again and again. It is also not cleared on a long rest.

Also, when I tested this, I turned off all my mods that could have anything to do with mechanics, only using UI and cosmetic mods that should not reasonably result in anything like this.

In case it helps, the Amulet of Silvanus that gives the ability to cast Lesser Restoration is hidden under a rock near the bear fishing down on the beach to the left of the bear sleeping on the elevator (taking it counts as stealing so to be done with care).

I.. how the hell can I not know this? I've been through there at least 10 times. T_T I have never bothered trying to move the rock you can sit on, but sure enough, found it and moved it, and look at that!

And I can now confirm that using Lesser Restoration on her does in fact remove both the Paralysis and the Knocked Down! I don't think this solves the overall issue of not being able to talk to Pandirna and her situation before then, and you miss out on interactions that you should have been able to have, including the opportunity to break her legs and whatnot. But at least she's up on her legs and can be interacted with!

Glad to have helped grin This game always seems to have something new to discover. I only realised on my most recent playthrough that I could actually get out of the Shattered Sanctum through a hole by following Liam when freed from the torture rack: I always thought that he just magically vanished in the way NPCs exiting the stage seem to do!

It sounds as though possibly the Paralysed status might have been preventing the Knocked Down status expiring, and the Knocked Down status was preventing Pandirna's dialogue triggering. Which, as you say, is still a bug but feasibly an edge case that hadn't been tested.
