are you serious Larian :-), yesterday there were 69 mods, of which at most 3 mods could be described as good and 5 more that are useful, the rest is cheap cosmetic rubbish and things that can be set up by default. Please and it's not getting any better, today there are only 68 mods, please what's going on with all this effort for this ridiculous offer, you can't be serious, can you?

Nobody wants to do the work with so little support from Sony or Microsoft or Larian

The good mods must be allowed, Larian must do more to allow more, that's the first thing, the native camera mod must be allowed, then the mod must be actively approached by Sony and Microsoft so that it is accepted and allowed.

Larian, you have work to do, let's go.

Otherwise you can just scrap your mod support again, worth it.

I very rarely comment on forum posts but damn you are only capable of complaining.

The mods on console came out 3 days ago, it is obvious that the amount of mods available is not as high as on PC.
Larian has already explained that the mod control and approval process on consoles is much longer and more restrictive than on PC.

That said, if you don't like the mods (those currently available) on console or they seem "rubbish" simply don't download them and play Vanilla as you did until three days ago.
Larian has already done much more than many other Software Houses, don't always complain and enjoy the wonderful work they have done and continue to support more than a year after launch.

It's ridiculous what mods appear, it looks like there's nothing to talk about. What's the point of praising the sky all the time if nothing comes across, then I don't need to offer mod support on the console, make everyone's mouth water and then nothing comes out except cheap crap, I'm tired of constantly being the third fiddle to console gamers to play.and there is no excuse from Larian then they should insert it differently through patch and done
photo mode when I hear this shit no one needs this crap. They should add the native camera mode to the console version through a patch and the dance is done, what's so difficult about that.

There's no point in talking to you.
The only thing you do is complain and denigrate the work done by Larian and the modders.

Be thankful that Larian included mod support on console, it wasn't required or mandatory but they did it anyway.

Remember that Larian and even less modders owe you nothing. Don't like console mods? Isn't there the one you want? Buy a PC and install all the shit you want on it.

You deserve EA games, always the same shitty games but great masterpieces, right?

Hey now, let’s take the temperature down a notch or three. Expressing displeasure at BG3 is generally allowed; expressing displeasure at posters is generally frowned upon, especially when swearing is involved.

Larian, please make accessibility a priority for upcoming patches.

We're talking again in a few weeks or months, there won't be much happening in the modding scene, especially today on release on consoles,Let's say there are 69 mods today, only 68 just 2 days later. 3 of which are good mods.
Let's see what it looks like in the next few weeks and months...
Let's see what happens later.

What counts as a good mod is up to personal preferences. I personally love all the cosmetic mods, so I think modding started out well.

There are limitations as to which mods can go to console especially PS5. There are more restrictions for the PS5.

This isn't a Larian issue. How many games on console have mods? The Bethesda games like Fallout and Elder Scrolls do, but which other games? With the Bethesda games the number of mods on console are far less than what you can find on PC.

Farming Simulator can also be modded on PlayStation. I have a PS5 and the number of modded games is really low. Larian is getting heat for something, that isn’t their fault.

I play on console and PC.

I play this on PC. The Bethesda games too.

I think if you're expecting to have mods in a game you need to play the PC version.

Frankly, there are already more Mods for console than I ever expected, so I think it's a positive development.

True. And personally I couldn't care less about a native camera mod so what's a good mod or bad mod is completely subjective

I'll agree that the mods for console atm are, for the most part, very underwhelming. I see a "batch" was pushed out today and there's nothing special.
but your tone.. could use some work.

Let's face it as I alluded to before; mods for any console game are underwhelming.

Or we have Bethesda where they charge you for certain mods.

I see it's going in the right direction, 75 today, thumbs up, the cheater ring has also been activated ok, it's working, now approve native camera tweaks and we're friends again and everything is fine.
or your photo mode and with a mod you can always use it like native camera tweaks is that an option?

I don't see this trend at the moment, as far as I'm concerned, mods are being activated on the console at the same time, at least at the moment it looks like the PS5 is not at a disadvantage, I think it's good, let's see if it stays that way, there are currently 75 mods available Console doesn't matter on Xbox or Playstation. And when I look at the cheater ring then I see hope for Playstation too.

But the glimmer of hope has already faded again, there are currently still 75 mods on the console, 4 good ones, 9 with medium quality and the rest are cosmetics.can only get better

Jesus all I ever see on the forum is this guy complaining.

Look, the fact mods are on console AT ALL is a miracle. Larian didn't have to bring mods to console. They could've just said "Here's the toolkit for PC. Everyone else fuck off." Instead, they went through all the effort and still are to give consoles as much as they can.

If you don't like the restrictions SONY has then either complain to them and hopefully realise they couldn't care less about what you want or buy a PC.

How entitled do you have to be to think developers and companies in general should work harder than their limits because you FEEL like you're entitled to them doing whatever you want.

So quit complaining on here as if Larian has to do what you say. Be grateful mods are even on console and shut up. Also, the whole 4 good ones and 9 medium ones is completely stupid. Not everyone wants the same mods as you.

There are some players who just want new dice or new cosmetic choices. How many mods are good is completely subjective. That's the problem with todays world, people like you act like your opinion is fact and everyone agrees with you. Grow up.

Well said AD231

Also after briefly checking the PC Mod list I noticed in the comment sections that many are "pending console approval" and that Larian has a lot of pending console Mods to check. So I anticipate the list will continue to grow. Remember Larian as a studio has more or less officially moved on from BG3 so staff dedicated to community-developed Mods for console players has got to be pretty small in number. Hence, I see every Mod as a gift. PC players will always have more choices due to the nature of the platform so for those who are unhappy with the level of Mod support for console, perhaps a PC is a better solution.

It's not up to Larian to themselves whether mods are approved for console or not. Skyrim and other games with mods have limited mods on Sony consoles compared to Microsoft consoles. And Microsoft consoles have limited mods compared to PC.

And cosmetic mods seem to be popular whether you like them or not.
