Who decides which mods are worth counting? You?

Just because you might not like them doesn't mean others might.

If you look at the most popular on PS5 quite a few of them are hair and other cosmetic changes.

There is a good variety among those 112.

My first full playthrough since Mods became available on console has been great. The DURGE Warlock class "The remembrance" Mod has become my preferred class for Durge now that I can use the Adjustable Party Limit Mod, otherwise I think the class would be a bit underwhelming in a party of 4. One Mod I thought would be just be for screwing around was the Double XP Mod. However I found it extremely helpful for streamlining the story. No more following quests just to get XP, you can stick to the main story and enjoy a much more immersive experience while leveling up quickly enough to meet the challenges. With Cheaters Ring added in I don't have to follow annoying side quests just to get certain items, again focus on the main story. For the first time since EA I felt like the pacing of the story made sense.

Next playthrough I want to try a TAV Dread Overlord. looks real interesting.

Be interested in hearing what Mods others are using and how they feel about them.

how long does it take for mods to be checked... now it's been over 15 days and no word on what's going on? Mod support from larian in Vacation?

A while. I'm sure you've noticed that consoles seem to get new mods on Fridays, in batches of about 10 or so.
If you look at the mods that we got today (with only one version) vs when they were published you'll see that most of them are around a month old so that should give you and idea of how long it takes. (Not taking into consideration that version updates to mods are going to add on even more time)

As mentioned before, Larian's approval process clearly isn't very scalable so as time goes on it's going to take longer and longer for newer mods to make it to console. it is what it is.

At the moment there really seems to be a worm in there, there are no more new mods coming out on console, nothing is being communicated, just radio silence. what's up ?
Mods were submitted for translation on October 13th, 24 so that, for example, Cheaters Ring is available in German as well as on PC, but today October 28th, 24 there is still nothing on the console? Does it take so long or why is nothing happening?
If such small translation mods take so long, my goodness, how pathetic will it be with larger mods..

Simply embarrassing. But the most embarrassing thing is the community that is still cheering this rubbish up and putting a positive spin on everything.
As I mentioned at the beginning, the mod support on the console has gone so badly
112 mods hehe 112 mods and how many hair mods :-), how many pointless cosmetic mods 80?

Oh man, that is cheap.
2 mods are worth mentioning, cheaters ring and enlarging the party and that's it and not even the German translation makes it, it seems, LOL. But it is all so GREAT hehe
What kind of mods were you expecting? In any game that offers mod support and custom character creation, cosmetics are going to be one of the most popular categories, followed by cheat mods. Game changing stuff is usually lower, and harder to create, on the totem pole.

I would like to know if there are future plans to move to a more easygoing approvalprocedure because now we have approved mids who are outdated and bugged but the updatz is not tet approves. We have to wait now for bew mods and updtes of approved mods so we just cant use some mods becuqe of this proces.

Im geateful for the mods but is this even sustainable in the longterm? We have over 2.3k mods on mods.io who most are pending approval for consoles, will we have to wait for years bow to play them based on the pacing of the approval?

how right you are, this is taking far too long but what did I say at the beginning of the thread, mod support is a miscarriage, it will never be anything useful.

Locking this thread to cut down on duplication and spam on the topic of mod support.

Feedback on mod support, and console mods, is of course welcome when constructive and engaging other forum members. But repetitive, short posts in multiple threads is spamming and is not considerate or respectful of other users.

I’ll remind everyone of the following forum rules:
- Do not bait, troll, or post spam in these forums.
- If a Moderator has asked users to drop a topic, please do not double-down or continue discussing it.
- Do not use Larian Studios Message Boards' features in a manner that adversely affects the availability of its resources to other users (e.g., excessive shouting [use of all caps] or flooding (continuous posting of repetitive text or topics).
-Posting short or off-topic messages in old threads to keep them near the top of the forum causes clutter and can make more active threads more difficult to find. Please, keep any additions to threads on-topic and relevant.

Thanks!
