Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Baldur's Gate 3 on Mac always starts in the wrong aspect ratio

Every time I start up Baldur's Gate 3 on my M1 Max MacBook Pro the aspect ratio is slightly off and the bottom of the picture is cut off. I go to settings, switch it to an incorrect aspect ratio, then switch it back to 16:10 and everything everything works fine. Then next time I start the game the same thing happens.

Is the default 1728x1117?

Aspect ratio? No. The full native resolution of the display is 3456x2234. But that includes the extra area modern MacBooks have for the menubar and camera notch. The area below that is 16:10 as MacBooks always have been, so 3456x2160 at native 4K, or 1728x1080 at 16:10 1080p.

The settings page still displays the correct settings after restarting. But the behaviour is wrong. Changing it, and then changing it back fixes it.
