I recruited her on Patch 7 without problems, and I did select "Wait" first, took out the scrying eye and then had her follow. No issues.
In Act 1 I knocked her out in Goblin camp not the raid, and have no mods. As I understand knocking her out during the raid may be a reason for issues. Same with mods interferring.
On a happier note; she does seem to have more dialogue and banter than she had before. She felt more static in my previous playthrough, this time she is more present it feels like.
