Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Any news on the macOS launcher crash?

So, since Patch 7 dropped BG3's been crashing on start for me. I reported the bug, went through the whole rigmarole proposed on the site, etc., etc. It's been almost 3 weeks and another hotfix (supposedly for all systems) and the problem hasn't been resolved or even acknowledged. Is anyone even looking at the problem or has our part of the player base just been thrown out with a broken product?
M1, Monterey (and before anyone asks, no, I am not planning to update to the latest version anytime soon, I don't want my old-ish Air to start lagging on a new OS, which it inevitably will. And BG3's minimum requirements state "macOS 12 or newer")

I have also tried to re-installed the game yesterday with macOS 13.7, and the game was also crashing on start after I clicked “play” in the launcher.
I have played it with the same macbook earlier this year (Feb).

Yup. Everyone below 15 is having problems. Minimum requirements who?
Anyway, please submit a bug report on the site to add more pressure on Larian. The more bug reports they get, the higher the possibility they might deign to look at the problem. Go through the whole process and include all the necessary files in one email (their autoreply bot is too dumb to gather files/links from several emails, even sent one right after the other) (use links if necessary, for example to Dropbox) till you get a message that either your bug has been forwarded to the support team or they're already working on the problem.
