Hello,

I installed a couple of Nexus mods that were previously working in-game and showing up within the in-game mod manager list; however, recently, I don't see the mods in that list anymore, nor do they show up in any of my playthroughs that they were previously working in.

I'm confused because the .pak files are inside the Mod folder in File Explorer but won't show up in the game, and I'm not sure where the disconnect is.

Specifically Mod Fixer and the All Items (Release Ready) mods.

Hello! I can clarify this for the Mod Fixer mod:

While most third-party mods should continue working alongside supported mods in Patch 7, the ModFixer mod created by figs999 will no longer be compatible with the in-game Mod Manager, as we have fixed what Mod Fixer was… well, fixing.

This means that mods that use or include the Mod Fixer .pak file (ForceRecompile.txt) will no longer be required to force the story to recompile. While we do recommend that mods that include the Mod Fixer .pak file remove it, to save you the worry of a broken game with third-party mods, we have blocked his particular file from being loaded in Patch 7.

This means that your mods should work correctly, but this specific file will be blocked and will not load (and cause issues!). This is why ModFixer might not be showing up on your list.

(If you’re still running into some issues and use BG3MM, you can check whether the third-party mods you’re using have the file baked in by looking out for an icon in the line next to the mod name. When hovering over this icon, it will say “Has Mod Fixer.”)

Thank you for the quick response and the clear explanation! smile

I did notice that the "All Items" mod listed ModFixer as a requirement, but I removed the ModFixer.pak file, and it looks like everything is working as intended.

Interestingly, the "All items" mod still doesn't appear within the in-game mod manager list; however, I can tell it's working in existing and new campaigns, so it's not too much of an issue.
