Ascended Astarion is the only LI in the game who cannot even be touched in any way in the epilogue.
It could also be - if you keep his select line in mind and the way the ascended kiss animations end - that he simply does not want to be touched. Just as a thought.
Maybe that's why Spawn Astarion wasn't added kissing in the epilogue? I have various headcanons on this topic. He doesn't like touching in public...
I have a couple of theories too, but to me it also simply seems to be a hugging sort of moment, from the way the conversation flows.
