I remember from previous PT's that the beginning of ACT 3 is a little complicated. But on my first patch 7 run now, I got completely stuck. After defeating Ketheric, I went to Baldur's gate road, passed the "gate" and ended in camp where I took a long rest,
but didn't get the self-reflection and the visitor's call for aid against the Gith guards
. We woke up, and couldn't leave camp, nor start a new long rest. Nothing changed when clicking on these options. Talked to everyone in camp, played with Scratch. Nothing changed. There seemed to be no way out. When I talked to Ailyn, she shooed me away to have a private moment with Isobel. I got the option to ask her when she would talk to Shadowheart and she told me she would do that when Selune decided the time was rright.
Finally I tried to fast travel back to last light inn (just desperately trying anything I could) and got the warning I was moving to another region. Ok, we materialised in the inn's courtyard and got immediately attacked by the shadow cursed harpers and thorny stalks, flying horrors, and even Marcus was back, even though I had killed him a long time ago.
So after the long battle, all the harpers were dead, though I had knocked out Dammon. If ever I got to act 3 this way, I would like him to be there also. Took a bit of loot. Oddly enough, Marcus had his greatclub and blur ring again, so I have two copies of these items in my possession now.
I did a long rest and left camp to return to the inn. Dammon was back up and not hostile anymore, but couldn't be interacted with. The game showed the textbox icon on him when hovering over him, but no talk was started by clicking.
So I went back to the road, passed to the other region again and did a long rest. Now, I had the conversation between shadowheart and Dame Aylin. We went on the rooftop, and I could do anothet long rest and everyhthing seemed to be back to normal now.
Gith monks invaded the camp
I don't know how I got into this situation. Is it a glitch introduced with patch 7 or subsequent hotfix ? I'm curious whehter Dammon will actually make it to the city now. Sure hope so.
