Please can we maby get more and other Console mods? We have only "few" mods and 30% of them are dice mods?!
I know it is a lot of work to proof them but it would be nice to get at least some more variety instead of another 20 Dice color mods.
I am so happy to get the possibilty to use mods on PS5 but when seeing what kind of mods PC players are able to use, it is just frustrating.

Thank you so much for ur work, Im playing BG3 since Release and this is the best game I've ever played.

Maybe give the modders some time to make their mods compatible for consoles. I know that some talented modders are working on their mods for console, but they are doing it in their free time and probably need to familiarise themselves with the new tool.

IIRC- Console mod approval isn't up to Larian but up to the companies managing those consoles? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Approval, from what I understand, is not necessarily the problem, it takes approximately 8 days from Mods.io who handles the mods, it's that Larian has to load them into their mod manager in-game on the consoles. That's my understanding. I really wish they'd put that on a schedule for console updates/upload/etc. that was easy to monitor.

I feel your frustration, I'm also on console. From what I understand there is a toolkit modders have to use to repack certain mods, and not all mod authors know how to use it. After that it has to be submitted for approval, as the mod has to comply with the terms and conditions of Microsoft/whatever company the console belongs to.

So it's definitely a process. And a learning curve for the mod authors, I think. It's slow moving, but it will come! It's just going to take some time. Not entirely sure what the courtesy is, but I know with Skyrim its common to reach out to mod authors to ask if they mind 'porting' a mod from PC to Xbox. Or if someone can have permission to port it themselves. So maybe we'll see a bit of that going forward as well.

There are many who use the tools whose mods are either approved and not uploaded, or pending approval for longer than the standard window. Somewhere there's a bottleneck that needs to be fixed.

As far as I know this is not the thing. Or actually probably both.
I saw a disscusion about it on some forum and there were some modders that said it takes a long time to get the approval for the mod.
Idk how long is "normal" but he said he is waiting for over 4 weeks now for one mod approve but I saw his mod is online now.

I know this is a process and I didint wanted to try to rush it, I wish w could just get some more variety when the devs ( or who ever from company is rosponsable) are checking the mods for compatibility.
Bcs we are so limited on ps5 it would be great to see at least more diversity but ofcourse I understand that it takes time and maby they are just going through the mods one by one in the order they get them. I dont knw.

There are limitations to mods on console too. Can't add or remove shaders for example. Also can't add to the nudity and violence.

Also I'm pretty sure it's up to the mod creator to select which platforms they want their mods on

I have to disagree regarding variety, at least as far as Xbox goes. Yes, there are a bunch of dice mods, but there is so much more. First off, "Cheater's Ring" and "Adjustable Party Limit" provide you with plenty of options and variety all by themselves.

In addition there are numerous Mods that provide additional faces. Multiple Mods that provide new hair styles (one Mods beard!). Several Mods that provide colour options. There are at least 10 Mods that create new classes/sub classes, one even has managed to include a unique questline.

There are multiple options for accelerating how fast you can level up. At least a couple that provide new feats. Several Mods that enhance customization of Tav and even a couple that allow you to Mod the appearance of Gale and Wyll.

There is even a Mod that allows you to have wings, something I thought was a bit silly until I created a totally bad ass Dragonborn Warlock that I am soloing on an Honor Mode run. Its now one of my favourite Mods.

Another new favourite is the "Bangin Bard Gear" that finally convinced me to try playing as a Bard for the very first time. Loads of fun.

I'm all for more, and I'm sure more will be made available but in my opinion they have made an excellent start.

I don't play on console but I know there are also different classes and subclasses.

I know I've said it before in other topics but it's fairly impressive compared to mods for Bethesda games. And there aren't any mods you have to pay for compared to Bethesda mods you do have to pay for.
