I currently have a save game with 8 or so mods that I used with Patch 6. While some of those mods have been updated for Patch 7, a few have not. I can get the save to load under Patch 7, but attempting to level up or respec (with Withers) causes a crash to desktop. Fortunately I was able to rollback to Patch 6 using the Beta option in Steam, which is great. I can now load the save and continue forward.
However...in the future I imagine once Patch 8+ rolls out, this option will go the way of the dodo. How do I ensure that I stay on Patch 6 until I can wrap up this play through?
