I can't see any of the noted dialogue but I am going to report regardless! this has been happening for a while.

Barcus is my dream companion........ he could prob be so easily integrated as one and make "saving Wulbren" his main quest. I adore that little man grin

Agreed, he is one of my favourite characters in the game. And I'm so invested in his questline. I guess asking for companions now is too late, but since a person already is working on a new origin character and another on a new questline in act 2, everything is possible via mods.
