Suggestion 1: +100 and even more backgrounds like Faction Agent (Zhentarim) etc. pp. would be awesome.
Suggestion 4: Yes, a custom party creator with saveable builds, as in the predecessors, was often suggested in the past, but was apparently not well received by the team. It was apparently feared that the Companions would then be played less... I don't want to dash your hopes, but this kind of request was considered and implemented with half-heartedness and as much as I hope I am wrong, I no longer believe that much will happen. I also did never understand that race-lock by hirelings...
Ooo yeah that's a good idea! More backgrounds could be fun and give us more freedom when making characters.
I didn't know that about the custom party, though. Maybe since enough time has passed, they won't mind about the main comps not being used as much? Hopefully they will at least reconsider it and if not, that's okay. It was worth mentioning, just in case c:
I don't get it either. You can edit everything about them, including their name, but not their race and gender. I wonder why they did that.
