Is it a specific campsite you have trouble with? I think the interaction is cute but I have noticed it happens more often in some camps than in others. For example in the act 1 main camp Scratch seems to visit her especially often, while I can't recall the interaction playing in some of the act 2 camps Although I might have just missed it - or it's somehow connected to him now playing with the owlbear cub.
