I am not sure I can share any credit for this one. According to the Game Awards website the word "support" is included in the award title as follows:
"Best Community Support" ...
"Recognizing a game for outstanding community support, transparency and responsiveness, inclusive of social media activity and game updates/patches."
I did report a couple bugs, and Larian fixed them very quickly. So maybe I did play a very small role after all?
