Hi there,

I recently started playing BG3 and have a strange graphical issue - in certain places on the map, when I pan around to see my surroundings, there seems to be places where the overall lighting changes dramatically, and instantly flips from warm looking with very noticeable god rays and fog, to a cooler bluer tone with less noticeable volumetric effects.

This effect is quite jarring, and immersion breaking. The evironment instantly changes from one look to the other, when panning back and forth, or moving from one place to another.

My gaming rig isn't particularly powerful - a gaming laptop with an i7-12650H, an RTX 4050 and 32GB of DDR5 ram, running the game from an SSD, but the game doesn't seem to be getting close to maxxing out any of my resources at all, and yet I have this abrupt lighting change occurring when I pan around.

I am running the latest up-to-date Geforce game ready drivers - version 566.36
This issue occurs when using either DX11 or Vulkan, fullscreen or borderless.

Below are two screenshots showing the abrupt difference in lighting that instantly changes from one to the other and back again as I pan around the view..

Is this a known issue? Is there anything I can do about it or should I just ignore it as something unsolvable and otherwise enjoy this wonderful game regardless?
