Hi,
I'm bumping this thread because I want to support it (sorry for my english mistakes, I do my best).
I finished my run as Tav, loved it, now I'm playing a redemption Durge, currently in act 2 but I've read a lot about Durge's plot, because I wasn't sure it was for me at first (so I spoiled myself heavily).
I'm currently in the middle of act 2, and I'm finally enjoying my durge run, but act 1 left me very skeptical... Let's say, during all act 1, I had the impression that these Durge scenes were added with forceps. I don't think they will fix act 1, it would require too much effort and rewriting, but I feel like there were no transition between many scenes ("OMG you killed someone !!" 2 sec later, nobody cares).
Consequence is that I had a hard time to feel connected to my character. I never had this problem during the whole game with my Tav (maybe because I have no trouble to RP, I don't know).
Now I'm in act 2 and finally, my Durge's companions and his love interest take him seriously after the great butler/romance scene. I loved it so much, it helped me A LOT to connect with my character. Astarion was an amazing support here and the interactions with Isobel just before were very nice too. We need more of those kind of things.
So, even if I'm not in act 3 already (but will be soon, and certainly before patch 8), I want to support this thread about the companions'/LI reactivity, at least for the Durge "key moment" OP talked about.
As I said, I know Larian can't fix everything (they are already doing an incredible work with all those patches), so if I have to choose, I would really like them to fix the reactivity in this scene in particular, because I don't want to have my immersion broken.
Thanks
