Temporarily locking this thread pending review.

It had been left open despite the forum rule about discussion of Astarion endings because it was mainly just chat about Sini’s playthrough. But this wall of text post, despite repeated requests to keep posts concise, and sharing links that it’s not reasonable to expect mods to review to check for adherence with forum rules, is ringing warning bells.

I suspect the thread will probably be opened again, but I want to check with the Community Management team about the specific guidance we want to issue about it.

UPDATE 13 JAN: This thread is still under review by the Larian Community Management team.

UPDATE 14 JAN: Thread reopened after review by Larian Community Management team and, under their guidance, removal of links from the previous post.

Please bear in mind that, for now, the rules about avoiding discussion of Astarion endings remain in place. We may try some careful experiments with closely moderated threads where folk with differing perspectives can debate constructively and civilly, with a view to hopefully relaxing the position in future, but the rules should still be adhered to in this thread.

And also remember that these forums are not for private chats (unless you’re using the PM facility) and so when we post any opinions then we must be open to having people challenge and disagree with them as long as they do so civilly and constructively. This can derail a thread if the opinions shared are either not on topic or against forum rules. Folk who enjoy this thread and want to help keep it open as a place to chat with likeminded fans about their playthroughs and headcanons should make sure they’re sticking to forum rules and avoiding posting content that will invite debate.

To help reduce impact on other forum members’ Active Posts feeds, I’d also suggest that fanfic type content that leads to longer posts is hidden behind spoiler tags (which I do recognise it often has been here).

We’ll keep this thread under review, but for now, I declare this thread reopened grin
