I agree OP. But yeah the male/female is for the pronouns and gender identity. I wish they would have gone with a slider type of character creator which would have been so much more customizable. I hate having to choose from generic faces, makes me feel like Tav is nothing but another NPC.😢 The main character should be able to look unique to anyone else in the game. Same problem with their previous game. I'd have a tough time playing now without mods.
