I don't mind having fewer body type options but it's changing automatically to a female or male appareance depending on body type.

This is a male face. If you go humoid races ( elf stuff, human, tiefling) you have body type 1 and 3 looking female and 2 and 4 looking male. The other races have 1 looking female and 2 looking male.
You also can select pronouns and gender separately to cover all flavor of gender fluidity. If you want to play female with a female face and body, choose 1 ( slim) or 3 ( muscular).
