On my latest Honour Mode file, Jaheira cannot cast Guidance or any other spell that targets an ally on any party member. Noticed it as soon as I started Act 3. From searching online, apparently this has been a known bug for like 9-10 months at least and Larian are apparently aware of it. No fix in sight. It basically renders Jaheira unusable for the entire playthrough. Really stupid and frustrating and really shouldn't be happening at this stage in the game.

Respeccing, killing and reviving, reloading, nothing fixes it. I filed a bug report but I doubt that will bear any fruit seeing as how there are reports of this going back almost a year that I can find.

First, come on, Larian. Wild that something as basic as this is still a problem.

Second, anyone know a fix/workaround for PS5?

Still bugged 8 months after your comment saying they've been aware of it for 9-10 months, lol.
Just got it on my latest playthrough on PS5 (no mods, honour mode).

It's super weird and kinda annoying because now I can't cast Fox's Cunning on her for her attempt at the Mirror of Loss

Emm, searching the Internet for topics created, i cannot believe it's been almost 18mths. Jaheira is bugged, Guidance, Freedom of Movement, Feather Fall, all cannot be casted on her nor can Jaheira cast onto 'others' aka her BUGGED Allies. I'm on patch 7, 12Feb2025. PC platform.

This has been raised and raged about on this forum by me no less, but no fix.

I have detailed how to manipulate her into being able to be buffed through Dominate person and trader approval bartering. She can't buff others however.

However, the best practice seems to be _don't do_ Honour runs if you want her, and reload to before recruitment if she bugs out.
