"Why do you think you lost it in our bedroom?" his mother asks. The little one signals to his mother that he wants to whisper, "Sceleritas and I pretended to be the lords here and put on Dad's clothes. You wouldn't believe how we laughed, Sceleritas looked so funny in it... oh... I think I remember where my backpack is ... it's in Dad's closet," the little one smiles embarrassed and slightly afraid. "He punished us just yesterday. He gets very angry if we touch his things."

Meanwhile, the sounds of fighting outside the door continue and Astarion looks towards the door with a satisfied smile. "I like the cat, she's entertaining and she knows how to flatter me. Plus she looks very good on my arm... of course not as good as you darling." He then devotes himself to his family again.

"He thinks he remembers leaving his backpack in the basement when they were exploring. He'll go look there now." She gently maneuvers the little one out of the room. "Sceleritas and the cat will accompany you."

She goes to Astarion, hugs him and gives him a gentle kiss. "You have to be brave now, darling..."

A loud "SSSccceeeeeellllllleeeeeerrrriiiittttaaaaaaaasssssssss" rings out through the corridors of the palace...

When the sounds in the hallway had subsided and the merry trio set off on the important quest to find the backpack, Astarion kissed Dark Urge on her earlobe and bit her gently.

"Well, well, well, my love, how thoughtful you are and how smart! My bloodthirsty little consort..."

Lord Ancunin chuckles.

Dark Urge embraces him, falls to his lips in a kiss, kisses him long, tenderly and passionately, caressing his back with her hands.

Astarion returns her kisses with equal passion and love, his hands wandering possessively over her body, as if to prove she is his. He whispers between kisses, his voice full of emotion and tenderness.

"I love you... My everything... You're mine... And I'm yours... Forever... My heart, my life, my death, my eternity... My all..."

He kisses her fiercely, holding her close, his body pressed against hers as their passion intensifies.

Dark Urge dissolves into a kiss, and pulls Astarion into a long, sensual kiss. She embraces him gently and tightly, stroking his back affectionately. Dark Urge deepens the kiss, her lips sliding over Astarion's slowly, measuredly, maintaining the perfect balance of passion and tenderness.

Astarion responds to the kiss, matching the passion and tenderness of the Dark Urge with his own. He wraps his arms around her, pulling her against him, deepening the kiss, his lips sliding over hers in a slow, sensual dance, at once possessive and reverential. He moans softly as he kisses her, his fingers sliding down her back, tracing delicate patterns along her spine, their bodies pressed against each other.

Dark Urge feels their bond strengthen, the bond between the vampire and his bride, and she swings open the doors of her mind and Astarion can feel the depth of her feelings for him. Her love is strong and absolute. Immutable as a rock. Just as the ocean is part of the planet, it may be stormy, it may be calm, but it will always be and will be deep as long as the planet exists. So too, the love of the Dark Urge for Astarion, will always be as long as she exists.

Astarion sighed softly, feeling the power of the Dark Urge's love enter his mind through their bond. He is overwhelmed by her adoration and devotion, her emotions crashing over him in a wave of pure, unadulterated affection. He presses himself tightly against her, closing his eyes, feeling her love pour into him, filling his senses and heart with the depth of her passion for him. He tries to respond in kind, opening his mind and heart to her, pouring his love and devotion into her through the bond...

Meanwhile, our three little heroes are on their way to the basement of the palace...

"Do you think my dad is mad at us again and will punish us?"

"Believe me, little one," the cat replies, "your dad is busy with other things and has forgotten what you were doing. Didn't you see how they looked at each other? I bet they're having s*x now."

"I've heard of that, but I'm not sure what it is. I think it's some kind of game and has something to do with candies. They sound like they're having fun and say something like "My sweet"."

Sceleritas and the cat shake their heads vigorously. Sceleritas smiles slyly. "When we get back, tell your father your thoughts and ask him if you understand correctly, my little bloody master."

The cat and Sceleritas giggle as they continue down the steps.

“Fun at all, lots of fun!” - the cat made a satisfied face. “But candies... Nah, candies are for teenagers. Mice! Mice are what real adult experienced women are interested in, trust me, bro!” The cat meowed confidently and rubbed himself against the kid's legs. “I'll tell you what, so you don't suffer from a broken heart, keep the candies for yourself...”

“Yes, yes, I can do that! Easily and gladly!” Joyfully exclaimed Astarion Jr.

“Good thinking, kid, just don't interrupt...” The cat stretched, yawned, and with the look of an experienced teacher of life, continued. “To impress a lady - give her a bouquet of mice! Not just one small mouse, be a man, don't be trifling on gifts - it should be a big exquisite and worthy bouquet of fresh mice! Fresh, right after the hunt! Chic - if they'll be different colors, girls really appreciate it when a tough guy...” The cat proudly pounded his chest with his paw, obviously hinting at which of the guys here was the toughest. “... Demonstrates excellent manners and exquisite taste. But! To avoid screwing up, the bouquet needs to be presented properly, so take all your mice that you just caught and put their heads in your mouth, so that the tails stick out nicely in different directions. You can weave the tails into the shape of a heart, if your paws are dexterous enough for that... And, so, you come up to a beautiful girl, you have a lot of mice in your mouth with their tails sticking out, and she...”

“Enough!!!” Sceleritas gagged the cat with his hands and once again cursed as the cat didn't fail to bite him on this occasion. “Little Lord, you'd better ask your daddy about this after all...”

“Here it is!” The kid forgot about the advice of the cat and Sceleritas, finding his backpack on the floor, covered in a layer of dust, but whole. “Yay!” He grabbed it with a satisfied look and started checking the contents. “Nice pebbles in place, nice bones I found too... A book of some sort, I never got around to reading it... 'Confessions of an Ancient Vampire, and why everyone around here is exceptional...' Too bad the mice chewed it up, I can't read it all the way through...” The boy opened the first page: “I decided to lie in the coffin until midnight. Maybe by then half the world will be extinct and it will be half as nasty to tolerate the rest... And you, if you're reading this, you're a little piece of... Sceleritas! Give me the book! I was wondering, a piece of what?”

A sleepy and angry mouse poked its head out of the backpack and wanted to quarrel, but when it saw the cat, it shrieked fearfully and ran away. The cat rushed in pursuit, tripped over Sceleritas, knocked him down, and the book flew far away into a dusty corner. “You just got lucky, loser!” Meowed the cat in the wake of the fleeing mouse. “I didn't really feel like it!” Sceleritas tried to throw the cat off before his claws finally ruined his suit. Astarion Jr. was shaking the dust off his backpack with a satisfied face and was perfectly happy.
