Computer specs:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700K
RAM: 64GB (2x32)
OS: Windows 11
Mobo: B760 AORUS ELITE AX
SSD: 2TB with 900GB free
(Note: I am aware of issues with the 13th and 14th gen Intel, I have the bios updates)
The game constantly crashes after roughly ten minutes, sometimes as low as five, sometimes as much as twenty. Often when interacting with something but sometimes just out of the blue. The first crash was during character creation of all things, so I rushed through that and most of the other crashes have been in the tutorial, which I have almost managed to power through. I say most because I have gone through character creation a couple times just to test as well and it did indeed crash there again one other time.
XMP is not enabled
Drivers are up to date
Verified game files
Reinstalled game (including deleting appdata)
Capped at 60fps and at 30fps, both in game and via Nvidia control panel
Set graphics to low
Run as administrator
Tried Win 8 compatibility mode
Only ever using DX11 (I hear Vulkan is much more unstable)
Not using any mods, nor have I ever used mods on BG3
Did stress tests on GPU, RAM, and especially on CPU, nothing seemed wrong with any of them
SSD health is at 100% (not a TBW issue)
Tried running in Safe Mode (with and without networking) but it ran far, far too slowly to truly test
Probably tried a couple other things I can't remember, it's all been a frustrating haze
I tried contacting Larian support and I got an automated response asking me to do basic troubleshooting, and then a second reply I think from a human who just copy/pasted the entire FAQ troubleshooting page, to which I let them know I'd tried. That was a couple days ago, and I haven't heard anything since then.
Any help would be vastly appreciated here, I'm at my wit's end.
EDIT: Almost forgot to note, I looked in Windows Event Viewer and noticed it doesn't always make logs when BG3 crashes. I noted the time it crashed once and combed through Event Viewer but no events with that time stamp at all.
