1 older gpu cards can't run modern FSR builds so upgrading will push up the min specs needed to run this game
2 the difference between 2.2 and 4 is how many [fake] frames are generated to full needed space so if you are playing a racing car game and there is 20 yards between where your car moved then this tech looks at the land in the background and makes a fake best guess ... great for a racing car game but kind of pointless in rpgs where the background doesn't need to change
3 picking a tech is something that happens at the start of a dev cycle or at least before the end
