I'll try to keep this short. Earlier this week I saw an NPC redesign mod by AzazeL on Neuxmods, changing the appearance of most tieflings and druids in the Emerald Grove. I really liked how everyone looked, except for Alfira and Rolan. So I unpacked the mod, removed the files for Alfira and Rolan, repacked it, enabled the mod and then ran my game to test it. Rolan and Alfira were their usual, unmodded selves, and all other NPCs had new modded appearances. I decided I wanted to make my own edits for Alfira and Rolan to make them fit in more with the rest of the newly modded tieflings. so I used the official BG3 Toolkit for the first time.
I watched a tutorial on how to change the appearance of NPCs by Chato on YouTube. For Alfira, I changed her hair color, horns, and eye color. For Rolan, I changed his hair color, horns, skin color, and I changed his robes from sorcerer robes to wizard robes. I followed the directions from the tutorial and moved all the files where they needed to be, published the mod, enabled it, and then ran my game to see if my edits were working. Alfira looked great, my changes were present and nothing seemed to be wrong. Rolan, however, wasn't quite so lucky. Rolan had his new hair color, skin color, and new horns, but he was missing his torso and arms. He's not shirtless- his torso just isn't there. He has shoes and pants, and he even has bracers where his wrists should be, but no torso and no arms. When I load my mod in Toolset, Rolan looks exactly how he should. Can anyone give me a hint as to what it is I may be doing wrong? I've tried searching online for solutions, but each search only gives me results for problems with the Unique Tav mod.
