Sorry if this was discussed already, I don't find anything about this.

Is it possible somehow to input real dice roll results into the game instead?
It would be soooo cool to make the skill checks with our own physical dice and then just input the results into the game like a small mod or maybe even Larian could add this into the game as optional feature?

I know it opens a possibility to cheat but well... we can reload the game anyway. But for me it breaks immersion. I'm the kind of gamer who rolls even with bad rolls.
I don't mind if this would be limited to single player, if it is too complex/unfair to implement in multi.

From the heading I thought you wanted a mod that connected to a dice tower to automatically roll physical dice and read the number with OCR

Well, I have no idea how much work it would be, tbh.

I can imagine something like a field to accept numbers we input after our physical roll. Or a drop-down thing. This would be real randomness and could add some extra spice imo. Computer rolls always feel well-who-knows-what-the-Hells-is-going-on-in-the-background-there for me. Clicking on the dice is nice but it still feels out of our hand.
For sure this above would be simpler than connecting a camera to a dice tower which can read the results and input them into the game, however that would be awesome too!

Cheapest version would be to get some kind of mod that overwrites dice imput and let you give them any value you want ...
Wich should be possible since i remember during one Panel From Hell, one of developers kept presing 1 ... and Swen was rolling all 1 ... not sure if that was part of the game, or some showcase tho (its years ago ... hslls, now i feel old). :-/

Then you would roll your physical dice and simply tell the game what you rolled.

Its not ideal ...
But it would be cheap and 100% doable!

I quick searched, and manual rolling mods are quire requested ... so fingers crossed, if that would interest you.
