Hello! First off, I want to thank you for all of your hard work and giving us free content with these great patches - I really appreciate it.
I wanted to ask if it would be possible to have an option in Photo Mode to hide buffs. I love to use as many buffs as I can get, but the visuals for Warding Bond, Longstrider and others, show up in the pics/screenshots.
And in regards to the special camp clothes that were given away as Twitch drops on September 2023, I just recently found out about them and I hadn't started playing BG3 until October of last year. I know its a big ask, but I was wondering if they could be added as drops again or given away or earned another way. I understand if it won't be possible, but I thought I'd ask.
Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Second that. Also, I made a swarmeeper ranger, and she is now permanently wrapped in a cloud of bees. Even after a long rest they keep swarming around her. In a static photo it looks weird. (I guess I'm glad I chose bees and not jellyfish)

But jellyfish are so cute! In all seriousness though, that's gotta suck not being able to disable the bees. Do you know if its a bug or if its meant to be that way. I haven't played with any of the new subclasses yet.

So I guess the testers and devs consider this cool. Ingame it's irritating, but in photomode it's like a bag of potatochips exploded over your head.

Oh course it's a bug! It's a BEE! *Batum tss* (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
In all seriousness, I do think the thread makes a good point. Some of these effects cost spells or can only be used once per long rest. So disabling them for a picture in photo mode can be annoying. It does feel odd that the option to remove those types of visual effects isn't included. Then again, it's such a massive patch that I feel it's understandable a few things may have been overlooked here and there.
Have you tried saving the game, disabling the active buffs, taking the pictures, and then reloading? I know it's annoying having to do all that, but until an actual fix comes, if it does come at all, there may not be many other options.
Looks like they are going full speed ahead with their next unannounced project, so not sure if they're gonna go back and patch this.

On a aside note, it does look like someone tossed a bag of honeybee edition Lay's potato chips at you

I have thought about this, but I have seen so many pics of post boss fight pics and I would love to do the same, but the thought of having to reload to kill a boss without my buffs just to get the pics sounds like such a pain. So I would love to be able to beat stuff as I normally would and then take my pics with the dead bosses and able to hide my buffs.

NPC props too, please. I was taking photos at the Elfsong, hid the NPC and noticed that they left their floating mugs behind.

For instance, Shart has a ring that gives her temporary HP when she heals someone. So she runs around quasi constantly with a white shimmer around her. I would have to somehow get rid of those temp hitpoints to make a decent photo. And then somehow get them back to go on with the adventure.

So, I wanted to see how the jellyfish would look, and found that the situation is even worse than thought. Removing everyone else from view, Shadowheart's shimmer that comes from her temporary hiotpoints remains visible. So that is absolutely a bug that makes photomode difficult to use during a campaign. NPC's hidden. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/31WM2PI.png) With NPC's shown. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/16bXCNF.png)

Yeah, I hid my party members, too and their long strider buff was still visible. I have hope that this will get fixed, but I have no idea how long it takes Larian to put out bug fixes after releasing a big patch. Btw, do the jelly fish still stay active all of the time like the bees do?

Indeed, I cast a bless on some partymembers and get this. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/MonCLIC.png) Did a full rest and the jellyfish are still swarming around.

I haven't tried patch 8 yet, but I'd also like to see an option to hide markers like these on player characters. I've had similar things while taking screenshots of my characters in older versions with see invisibility and the temporary hitpoint marker.

Let's hope that Larian will give us the option to hide them. *fingers crossed*

Did a full rest and the jellyfish are still swarming around. Yes, you are stuck with your swarm. It's such a weird choice that you cannot disable or enable them manually. I gave Jaheira a few levels in beekeeping and don't mind the effect but I can imagine it must be annoying if it's your player character. On another note, I noticed that some of the action poses you can pick in photo mode add subtle speed lines to your character and those don't go away if you change the pose either, which is unfortunate, while on the flip side, the magic poses come without effects which is equally unsatisfying. Although you can always trigger a spell and open photomode without releasing it to get that magic spark - so that's not too much of an issue.
