I own the GOG version.

I play with NO mods and the game crashes at 71% on the splash screen each time I open it up.

I've started it through the Gog Galaxy and directly from the exe file in the game folder.
I have started the game with DX11 and with Vulkan.
I've run it as Admin and without Admin.
I've rebooted in safe mode and in standard.
I've turned off all anti-virus and all background programs.
I've uninstalled and re-installed twice.

Why doesn't the game work? How do I further troubleshoot?

Please help!

It's not true that you don't understand how well Patch 8 turned out! It has a photo mode!

Found the fix by uninstalling Citrix. Lock the thread please.
