As many criticisms as I have of this game, the one mod I considered to be *essential* for me to be able to at least modestly enjoy playing this game was the mod to increase party size. So, hearing that it causes so many game-breaking problems is so incredibly aggravating.
I don't have any problems. I gave party limit begone and you only have to separate the party once on the boat ride to Grymforge, because there only four party members can go. But the rest was totally fine.
Okay, so there appears to be multiple mods available for increasing party size: party adjuster, adjustable party size, and party limit begone. And different people are saying the mod they use works fine. Does anyone have knowledge of all these mods such that they can offer some further clarity and guidance on which one is best to go with? Much appreciated.
Like Lotus, I would recommend Party Limit Begone. It works great for me. And you only have to keep in mind, that you have to split the party for the Grymforge boat ride, since that is hardcoded for four people. The modder has a very detailed description on their Nexus page too.
