If I remember correctly it is your butler Sceleritas Fell who tells you that you where crafted from Bhaals own blood and not born at all. Your PC is a direct offspring by some sort of blood cloning.

I have not seen this. I am curious to see this now. And I agree with you that seeing your PC reaction/transformation in person is quite different than watching someone elses PC doing the same.
In this branch there are also a few options. You should try them all, but the one that had the greatest impact on me, was where I decided to have myself locked up in jail for the rest of my existence. There's then a very moving scene with Withers if you ask him to end you. Later all the branches converge to that final scene at the camp reunion. But the small Withers intervention made it even more dramatic.
