My Tav now always shows the equiped weapons. Even when going to full rest in camp. Seems to have begin with hotfix 30.
Have you accidentally pressed the "Unsheathe Weapons" key (I believe it's the "U" key by default)? If so, pressing it again will resheathe them.
I know I've done it a few times by mistake somehow.
