I would like to address why i haven't included Neverwinter Nights in my list.
I was one of the many who spread word and hype that the game was going to be great. Later I purchased such game and so did one of my friends. I played to act 2 and so did my friend. We both Stoped after Act 1 for we didn't like the PLOT!!!

Neverwinter Nights was a let down big time. I like games that have the latest DnD (Dungeon & Dragons) 3Edition rules. I am of consequence more reserved for my feelings on games that will APPEAR to be good but not all around good enough.

Just thought I clarify that sense no one else did. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shhh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/alien.gif" alt="" />

My Top Ten Games (in no particular order) :

- Monkey Island I

- Indy Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

- Monkey Island II

- Age of Wonders

- Commander Keen 4

- X-Wing

- Realms of Arcania : Startrail ("Sternenschweif").

- Albion

- Wizardry 8

- Divinity, apart from the fighting.


Apart from that, there are two imho true gems of gaming which I'd like to give a special place here :

- Homeworld

- Leviathan (The Tone Rebellion)

They are unique in one way or another.

ok, I see a lot of people complaining about Neverwinter Nights' plot, and I have something to say. When this game was announced they did not intend to have a singleplayer adventure, singleplayer was added because fans of bioware games asked for it. The true fun about neverwinter nights is to create your own adventure and play it with friends.

Neverwinter Nights is the closest to real pen&paper feeling. If you dont like the plot make one yourself <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

YEs, I think this could be true. NWN is so weak for Singleplayer, because it simply is a) an Editor, and b) designed for Multiplayer.

That's another point why I won't buy it, I think : I have only a weak connection to the Internet, and none at all like a LAN-type.

Funny thing is, I still prefer a PnP game online (posting on forums, basically the same as a regular PnP game, but with more time to post, since anybody just posts when they have time), over playing NWN online.

That's why in fact, I do run a pnp game online, as opposed to playing NWN (or even installing it). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

Wow there are alot of games i like. But i've only played so many...i'm still 16 and still go to highschool and make an allowance of 30 bux a week so i have to buy my own games..anyway...here are the best...
