The only way I have access to the Mod manager is when I delete a mod in the mod folder manually off the HD. Then fire up the game, and only then I have access to the mods for upgrading or new downloads.
After I leave the Mod manager and go into a campaign, then leave campaign I no longer can use the Mod Manager until I drop out of the game, and manually take out a mod. Even with ImpUI mod not there the issues still persist. So it is not the issue.
I say Desk Top, because my slightly more powerful Laptop can not even launch a game. When choosing a new game, and after selecting a mode of play it will load all the way to 100% then it claims it can not start a new game and then it goes to the main menu while telling you to return to the main menu. The game blames the mods and request the removal of external mods.
The thing is the Lap Top uses the exact same mods as the desk top. Other than the issue above (which the lap top also has this problem) the Desk Top does just fine with those Mods. With some experimenting it is nothing to do with where the mods come from. The only way to play on
my lap top is with NO mods at all, either from Nexus or from Mod.oi. That is a hard no.... just no. Even reinstalling did not help.
UPDATE: the Mod Manager is now working properly, 2 mods that were forgotten needed to be gone. Mods that effect the mod manager itself. Mod.oi really needs to stop auto-download mods that are unsubscribed, it took a few tries to stop it.
BUT, I still have the Lap Top problem. Why is the game refusing to play with Mods on my lap top, the exact same ones my desk top plays with no problem. It does not matter which mods they are Mod.oi or Nexus, the game will ONLY run with NO mods. My Lap Top is also slightly more powerful
than my desk top.... I also started a game with 0 mods, saved it. Activate the mods, restarted the saved game, and it still shut down on me. Including shutting down server message... what server??? it was a single player gameplay.
Any ideas??
