I did, yes. And since I havn't got the cut scene with her yet until that point, I was hoping for that option. At the tiefling party I told her that I like her and she told me, that she'll join me later when everyone is asleep.
I chose the option to spend the night with her, but even with that there was no cut scene. Just the usual long rest scene where everyone is asleep.

Same as previous poster's quote above. Patch 7, and Patch 8. Always kept Karlach in my party, even recruiting her before I speak/interact with any thing or person in the Emerald Grove, except for forced scene of Zevlor argument with another Tiefling. Seems like bug has not been fixed for a long time >1 year...based on Internet search anecdotes.
