I have several runson balanced and tactician completed but have finally decided to complete a honour mode run if i can. I am going to do a gale rommance its only one i have not done.I just can not decide on a class.I love melee but can use a ranged or caster.Im currently tied between either Full Veng. pally, 12 BM fighter, Moon druid or maybe a Sorcerer but i would prefer to have gale in party so not sure a sorcerer and wizard in party would be wise. Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated.

It's difficult to recommend a class because everyone has their favourites. (I had a monk in honour mode) But I do want to point out that HM is not the best mode to also embark on roleplaying (IMO) . Since you can't "savescum" you will have conversations with Gale during the runup to romance, and during the intimate hours, where you will be stuck to 1 option each time. Sometimes you'll be curious to know what would happen with another line, but you won't be able to find out.

The two walkthroughs that I use that are AFAICS the best are:

---

It's Shatter - BG3 walkthrough

This gives you a relatively consistent walkthrough in a relatively compact form.

---

Melth's Honor Run

This gives you a maximized challenge run on Honor mode - no sleep, no healing potions, etc

Basically Melth never sleeps, except when forced to, and can thus keep unique buffs up and a large army of summons to help out.

Unfortunately the run is currently still incomplete, with just having entered the third act. BUt that shouldnt be too big a problem.

---

Both are designed for powergamers, but if you play the ironman mode, you are a powergamer.

My biggest fear during my HM run was actually, that I accidentally click on something that would be considered thieving and aggroing characters, I really don't want to Aggro.
I romanced Gale too for the first time in that HM run and it worked pretty well.
I played a sword bard, which was pretty great. You could avoid some fights by just talking your enemies out of it.
I used bard, because that is my comfort class, I would recommend to use, whatever you feel good with. If you prefer melee focused characters, use one of those.

One route to talk your way out of several Act 1 fights is to get branded very early.
